1. Share with us one of your favourite memories with the two of us

One of my favorite memories with Carlo and Angela was playing board games during a camping trip at Masungi. They were taking their camper van on a test run for Carlo’s birthday and a few of us joined in, pitching tents and celebrating. After making dinner the first night, we gathered around a table, with solar lamps illuminating the space, and played a collaborative code breaking game. As we played, I watched Angela’s competitive spirit come out in full force as she zeroed in on the clues, pitched ideas and put forward guesses to break the code. In contrast, Carlo sat back, sipped his whiskey, told stories and jumped in with suggestions when asked— Two totally different approaches that complemented and reinforced each other. We laughed a lot that night and I remember thinking how wonderful it was to be together and how these two could fill the simplest moments with so much joy.

2. What's your one wish for the couple?

My wish for Carlo and Angela is that they continue to love each other with patience, care and conscientiousness— holding space for who they are individually now, for who they will each grow into, and who they wish to be as partners. May you both always be supported and surrounded by love!
